Flying High
Organised in collaboration with Zoom Kindermuseum, Vienna
Flying High, an interactive exhibition for children ages six to twelve, presents in a playful and enjoyable way the exciting subject of flight, and draws from the realms of natural science, fiction, flying tricks and illusions. The stations in the exhibition covers diverse topics ranging from science, technology and mythology to modern flight and experimenting with paper airplanes. Children explore the flight techniques in nature, discover the bone structure of birds and the surface of shark skin, dress up as Mary Poppins or Harry Potter, learn how airplanes and rockets can fly, who the pioneers of modern flight are, how airports work and explore the effects of thrust, static and aerodynamic lift. |
